Content Tips/Guidelines

Content is all what a site is made of. That is what makes the site what it is, and whats most important. There are a few things to keep in mind when setting up your content of all sections.

- - Length. You want to keep it somewhat short so you dont have to scroll down a bunch of times and make it so that you need to go all the way back up to find one link. You should think about using a Iframe or a DIV which allows scrolling but doens't make the entire page scrolling a whole lot.

- - Swearing, try and keep this to a very MINIMUM. How many people you know like to see that on a page? If you have a swear word in every 2 sentences, you have to much. I know there is another word or phrase that can go there.

- - Chat speak. You want to avoid this as much as possible. You may understand what you are saying, but do your visitors? Some people don't know chat speak or maybe some of the abbriviations you are using. Try and stick to some what proper english, this way people can understand what you are saying without a problem. Yeah it may take longer to do so, but if you are too lazy to even write correct english ( or nea correct english) what are you doing creating a site in the first place? Laziness is allowed at a bare minimum.

- - Keep it as content for ALL ages. There are a lot of kids on the net nowadays, stay away from hentai or anything similar. If your site isn't for all ages, you should think about stating that on a splash page, warning the visitors.
